so dusty!!! clean your room la! haha...
the b&w give the mood but composition is not ngam la.
i would shoot it in diff angle, 90 degree facing straight to it and give some space to it.
makes the "switch" looks lonely.
lonely + b&w is a good combo. hehe.
my 2 sen.
p/s: find my thread and komen kaw-kaw pulak! :D

I would prefer to include the whole switch at the bottom, and lighter light source on the left without blown out. lastly not in the center for better composition. Again, it is my taste.

Tighter crop would be better too...taken with Sigma 30mm f/1.4? I quite like the overexposed glow on the left side of the "switch"....
Oh yeah...you could have turned the knob to "5"...before everyone start singing, "It's getting hot in here....so take off all your..."

Reminds me of the fire alarm switch I took some time back .... mebbe I'll post it later
Considering it's a modern device, even the grainy look may not impart sufficient 'old feel'.
And yes, I'd prefer the switch to be included as well :D
Alternatively stronger shadows that partially cover might be good.
Try approaching KDK for ad endorsement! :D :D :D Seriously, wouldn't hurt to try.

yes, gojira.. its the 30mm..
about the dusty look.. i personally quite like it.. give the mood.. frankly.. this is just a snap shot.. but i just wanted to convert into b/w.. play play with photoshop... haha..
anyway, i'll give it another try with better composition and exposure...

I like the dusty look too, hahaha! I just noticed that there is more vignetting at the top corners of the photo...is that direct from the camera?

i think the vignetting become severe after i tune the curve heavily..
