Waited long enough for someone bring me to this place. Thanks to Lensa Malaysia members. Bukit Tabur is located at Taman Melawati near Zoo Negara.

Bukit Tabur has a very nice view but the sun will be too harsh after 10am. Extreme climbing will take about 1-2 hrs. For light and easy will be around 3 hrs or so.

Bout the pics, it is just my lousy skills :(

Not very high. But you can sweat a lot during the first 15 mins of climb. Wanna go there?

I already start a thread at another forum. You guys can join the group. 0530hour might be too dark for newbies as some area need extra concentration during climbing. Not advisable if they are not confident and familiar with that place.

You can start at 630am and will take around 30 mins to reach the place as shown in my pics for sunrise. Thereafter, you can continue to climb until the peak which will take another 30-45 mins depending on your speed.

Just keep looking at your own feet and you are just less than 6 feet above the ground :D

guys..i know the place.

there are two part of the climb we need to be extra careful as we cant see the footing. someone tall will be an advantage.

if interested maybe we the SA gang can organise one. :cool:

i suggest an outing.. since QQmeng initiated it maybe u wanna list down some dates in advance.. so you could be down in KL and free for it... and so as others as well :D
