Actually I ate this Malacca rice ball in my previous trip and personally not that delicious to me :D - just personal comment only.

I thought it was delicious. Don't really care what they did before that. Just simply whack the food into your mouth and process it thats all.

which shop u went to? there many shops there.. i always go to the one with antic design.. like a temple.. hahaha... but not so delicious actually just the fame is there//:P

I went to a shop inside a Mahkota parade..with antic design exterior I guess but I can't recall it's name due to many years already. Until now, I still prefer the original Hai Nam chicken rice instead of the chicken rice ball.

oh.. that one is actually the franchise of the same chicken rice.. maybe u should go to jonker street n try at the hq there.. :D

n u r right.. me too prefer the original ala hai lam.. the rice ball also cool very fast.. which annoyed me the most..

the original, if i'm not wrong, is the one opposite OCBC bank just in front of the 'red house' area.
my frens (malacca frens) always brings me there.. i also not sure if it's the original ones.. but i like it a lot! :D

origor.. i think the one u mentioned used to be the most famous.. somehow.. i heard my fren from malacca said the quality drop..
