i dont get your question :P u mean u got 52mm lens and 55mm lens or u already have this 2 CPL?

if u have a 77mm or 67mm cpl and want to use it on this 2 lens u can buy a 52-77 and 55-77 or 52-67 and 55-67 hope this will help

What i mean is that I have a lumix fz50 and bought a 55mm CPL filter lens. Then later I bought a Pentax k100d with a 52mm lens. so i bought another 52mm CPL filter lens. I am wondering if the item u are mentioning will allow me to use the 55mm cl filter lens on my pentax ( standard kit lens 18-55mm). I also have a pentax FAJ 75-300 zoom lens. The lens size is 58mm. I dont have a CPL filter lens for that. Can the step up lens u r selling allow me to use the 55MM cpl filter lens for my pentax 58mm lens? :? I hope this is clear enough.

You have two CPLs, each at a filter diameter of 55mm and 52mm. Each of these will fit nicely on your FZ50 (55mm) and Pentax kit lens (52mm) respectively. So you don't need any step-up or step-down rings for these.

However for your FAJ zoom lens which is 58mm in filter diameter, you will need a step-down ring instead (not a step-up) if you want to use with either of the current CPLs you have. To use with the 55mm CPL, you will need a 58mm->55mm step-down ring, and to use with the 52mm CPL, you will need a 58mm->52mm step-down ring.

ahhh :D now i understand. I should have bought a large size CPL filter, then buy a step up so between 52-77mm so that I can use just that one CPL filter for my 2 pentax lenses and my lumix as well. Right? No step down option kah?

Yes. It's recommended to step up rather than step down too, coz when you use a step-down ring, you'll most likely get vignetting at wide angles ;)
