Look nice n yummy. Too bad I already boycott the overrated Char Koay Teow. Can get better service n char koay teow elsewhere without the need to line up.

Agreed, over rated, can get same or better virtually
anywhere else in Penang.

Dude can't you tell by the colour of the prawns? Hehe they should be pink not orange!

Hehe..I saw another plate in the background. I ordered two too. First plate wasn't that "red" so i asked her if it's with extra chilli. SHe then really "taruh" a lot of chilli in the second plate. So the prawn might not have been that pinkish anymore. So i checked my orignal images....guess I overdid the "adjustment" part..:P

good curry mee? i used to patronise in one stall at the jelutong pasar.. the famous one i dunno.. but the pasar one quite good for me.. not sure it still there or not.. next to it is a wantan mee stall.. i like the fried wantan very much..

May I as a Penangite recommend another better CKT to you, that is opposite Pulau Tikus Polis Station. The store will open around lunch time and close around 5pm. Closed on Monday. The service is good and the taste is better. There is a Laksa store there, but so so only. Happy eating!!

Thanks will go to there (Pulau Tikus) to try next week :) Lorong Selamat's CKT is good but pricey. No choice good thing come in price and long queue. Haha!

There's another Char Koay Teow stall which I would recommend which is in a coffee shop situated right before the Air Itam roundabout if you are coming from town direction. Not sure about the opening hours but it definitely opens in the morning.
