How about something like this?

Desaturates, adjusted levels, added vignetting to outside to give more focus...

my try..
to me, ur pic is already good enough, it just needed some touch up (adjusment on levels),sharpness and vibrancy (through saturation of colours).
If only i know how to do the sunray like leschang's i think it would be perfect. :D

the sunray was created by brushing few white lines, then blur it using zoom blur.

here is the details:

i guess you need few post count to view, i quote the thread here if you don't mind.

Sunray before and after:
http://fotokrazy.com/cms/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,26/action,dlattach/topic,1336.0/attach,1149/

Let’s do the work:

1. Create a new blank layer and draw a white stripes as shown:
http://fotokrazy.com/cms/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,26/action,dlattach/topic,1336.0/attach,1151/

2. Apply Filter > Blur > Radial Blur > Zoom.*
Adjust the Blur Center, amount and quality:
http://fotokrazy.com/cms/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,26/action,dlattach/topic,1336.0/attach,1153
* repeat this step if necessary.

3. Overlay this layer to backgraound, adjust the opacity accordingly:
http://fotokrazy.com/cms/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,26/action,dlattach/topic,1336.0/attach,1155/
* you can simply add layer mask on Layer 1 to mask out some of the rays if needed.
and you’re done!
