i see red when everytime i shoot red.

based on some master here, i was told tht it is the censor tht got all these red color screwed up. ... and then they starts telling me some physics tht i cant never understand. :D

Looks good to me.
Background could have darker to better highlight the rose. The small dark patch at the center of the bud is little distracting. Might wan to spot heal it in CS2. :D

Orionmystery - thanks about the tighter crop. never crossed my mind that i could do that and have a totaly different perspective.

qqmeng - don't really get what you mean.. do you mean the red color of the rose is screwed ? it is as intended.

knytan - thanks. get what you mean about the background. as for the small dark patch, it is actually an insect and i didn't want to clear it up to make things look too perfect.

No need to say sorry. I understand what you mean about the red channel being blown.

I pp the pic with the intention of making the rose look bloody red and staring right at you with only the petals outline showing. That was the effect I was after and not the details of the rose itself, hence the pp was to create a pic that was different from the original that would have look like a usual close up shot of a rose. Guess it didn't work out..Will try harder.
