With some rumors around at the Sony camp, word has come that a Sony D-SLR release may be imminent. According to unnamed sources, the Digital SLR will be a part of Sony’s Alpha line and will sport some impressive specs: 12.8-megapixels, light sensitivity up to 3,200 ISO, speeds of 10 frames per second in JPEG mode and in-camera anti-shake compensation.

Not sure if release is imminent, but Sony is definitely coming out with a pro range of SLR sometime in the future.

i would said it's true but the lauching date still unconfirmed.
as far as i understand the last round i join their Alpha Club outing, they did show us 2 new model. the entry level and pro range. price unknown.

other manufacturer also saying they will have new replacement ma :D so we just sit back and wait lo ....... hehehehehehe

I'd image the pictured is the mid-range D200/30D level model, there will also be another rumoured to be Full Frame with a D2x/1D style body.
