Congratulations to Nikon - the D200 was recently selected as the 2006 DIWA Best Digital System Camera winner (http://www.europe-nikon.com/news_room/news.html?locale=en_GB&bandwidth=broad&id=1049&type_index=2&universe=%5Buniverse:xx%5D).
The DIWA citation noted: "The Nikon D200 outperforms most of its rivals, even those at a much higher price. The Nikon D200 is not only an extraordinary camera on paper. It also performs like a pro. Even our demanding DIWA test procedure was an easy match for the Nikon D200. The international group of DIWA experts found it to be one of the finest cameras ever made."
Being a D200 owner, I have to agree :D

D200 has won TIPA, EISA, Camera Grandprix (Japan) and DIWA... did'nt know any other model has achieved all these awards. Whether the new D300 can get similar (or better) achievements than its predecessor???
