What's a good slave flash to buy? Preferably can manually control power, use AA batteries and below RM1k. :)
And where to buy?

:)I'm in KL/PJ.
As for what system I don't think it'll matter so much since I have my remote flash triggers. I just need as I mentioned before, manual power control, uses AA and below RM1k.
So anyone can help?

RM1k is way over budget for a strobist (the david hobby kind). The idea is to get units with the bare minimum features ie no ttl or whatever ****... as long as you can power manually, that's fine. What they do in the states is get budget units like the vivitar285hv (an old model resurrected for this strobist movement) or the sunpak383. You should be able to get them off ebay way below that budget.

SB24, SB26 or SB28 is fine.
Can also go for Vivitar, Sunpak or Sigma (super series).

Yeah there's the old generation SB's but I find they're really old in the usual suspect shops and not really cheap in KL ... the 285hv you can get new for not much more than these oldies :)
Less gear (read less dosh). More brain. That's the strobist mantra :)
