the shrine of remembrance, it honours australians who served during wars from malaya to the current iraq war. the architecture is pretty impressive.

You got beautiful pictures there. Well done. The light is always good and the sky clear and blue. It's always a joy to shoot.

st.kilda's beach. i didn't spend alot of time here. nice beach but it reminds me of sentosa in singapore. the view of ships on the horizon spoils everything... great ocean rd or bondi beach in sydney is much better

melbourne is connected by trams and buses and trains. u can take any for 3.30 aus for a 2hour period and change how many times you like. on sundays, it's 2.50 the whole day!!! that said, melbourne is not an awfully big city and can be covered by foot mostly.
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j234/clemong888/DSC_0076-4.jpg
the city circle trams cover a loop ard the city and is free

other places to visit would be dandenong to see birds or brunswick st for some shopping as well.
as for food, melbourne generally has good food but nothing really stands out. i didn't try the famed gelati as they close during winter. koko black at lygon st is a must go place though. it serves the best hot choc!
