Ansmann N40 + D40 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/htap28/517552218/)

To let you know more about Ansmann, it is actually German company. They do produce battery grip for D40. The grip come with a build in 2200 mAh. According to them, you can take up to 2000+/- pictures. But for D40, it dun have vertical shutter.

If the selling price is around 500-600, would you like to have one? But for those who INTERESTED to the grip, please put down your name here, and i will further confirm with you the price again. Hopefully the bulk purchase will be cheaper. For now, estimation is about rm500-rm600.

i would like to wait and see if many people respond. No point for me to bring in a lot and only a few of us interested. If we make bulk order, at least we have the bargain power.

I really need to know how many of you would buy, then only the supplier will quote me the price...

up to ur preference. someone might say the D40 not big enough and dont have enough grip. So get the battery grip for better grips...:P

One battery might not enough for you. So get something that can last 2k[s] snaps...:?

Thats all. and Thanks!! Do leave your name here if you are interested...Plan will be cancel if not much replies by end of this weeks...:(

Thanks!!

D80 original battery grip is cheaper than the third party d40 grip. Rm 450 vs RM500~600. Some more with no vertical shutter?? Sure or not??

rm400-500 without any batteries rite? This grip come with build in battery which can last for 2k snaps. And my bad not to state there just estimation price. And i don't think that D40 will support vertical shutter. Just like D50. :P

This is ESTIMATION price from the conversion from Philippines Dollar To Us Dollar Then back to Malaysian Ringgit. For the REAL PRICE, i still waiting for the quotation from Supplier. Hopefully i can got it by this week. They really reply me real slow.

And i do say, IF the price is "so" then would you interest? you can state down the price that you most preferable. So i can use it as a guideline and not to exceed it. Or lets we put the price aside, since it is ridiculous expensive, how many of you would interested to a D40's grip? simple.... just want to know how many people interested. I think i know how much D40 users willing to pay for it.

some beginners skip D40/40x just because of the small body - especially for big hand to hold the body of the camera...

some people buy grip for 'good feel' when holding the camera...

and some say with grip it looks more like 'pro'....

some people looks for vertical shutter.....

some people buy grip because of the capability of using AA size battery when emergency.....

so it is up to u to judge the reason why do some people need D40/40x grip.

but some grip in the market for D40/40x doesn't have all above features.

here is the product i think suits most owner of D40/40x....
can use up to 2 unit original battery simultaneously to provide double capacity and provide longer hours of usage
or just use SIX AA size battery.

PM me for details... 2 unit more left...

for the link i posted, they just basically put an infrared remote onto the battery grip (go to the picture with the vertical shutter, you'll see something has popped out--that's the infrared remote).

i doubt they can add a dial, as, afaik, nikon didn't design the D40 a battery grip or any contacts for the shutter or anything else like that.
