1.To kick off the trip , i took a stroll down the famous LAS RAMBLAS , which is filled with tourists , street performers , food stalls , cafes & etc.

2. Located in the centre of the Las Ramblas is the famous Market of la Boqueria. Enjoy a vast variety of fresh fruits , juices , meats , eggs , seafood here. You can even have a snack or two before heading further down the Las Ramblas.

3. Port Vell is just located at the end of Las Ramblas.

4. A further walk brings me to the famous Barcelona beach. This long stretch of beach is thronged by the locals & tourists & there is a daily beach party as long as the weather permits.

5. Sagrada Familia: The construction of this church started in 1882 & continues till today.

6. Arc de Triumph

7. A visit to Tibidabo , 1 of the highest viewpoint in Barcelona , is a must.

To get to the top , you could take a cable car , or drive all the way up. I opt for the former.

8. The National Palace
