D80 Firmware

does anyone here that is using a d80 with the firmware version A1.01 B1.01 ?

The reason i ask is becuase i remember in the past where my firmware is still A&B 1.01, i have not much of complaint but after i upgraded the firmware i have and issue on my ISO. I used to take photos using ISO400 and i hardly notice any noise on the photo (with or without flash firing) but after the upgrade at ISO400 is as though i am taking on ISO1000. Sound weird well is damn true.

Just wondering i have someone that bear the same fate as me after the upgrade or does anyone here actually upgraded their firmware ?

Wow, that is NOISY. Using D80 also but it was already B1.01 when i bought it. Maybe you should send it in to Nikon for a check-up?

Well orion can you post on of the photo and i might need to download it to show to nikon. I tried to compare with my others photos before upgrading the firmware is ok event at iso800

Well it looks underexposed (which causes more noise) and I can't really see any, looks fine to me for ISO400.

Perhaps if you post some 100% crops from similar pictures before and after we can judge better.
