A brief stay at Tanjung Rhu - one of the island's nicest resorts IMHO - yielded just a few pictures (too much time in the water  ). I wanted to get the feel of seclusion, peace and quiet that this immaculate beach offers. Comments and criticism gratefully received.

Ahhh the Tanjung Rhu Beach Resort - one of the most expensive options available in Langkawi. I never miss this beach everytime I go to Langkawi - a quick dip and then a refreshing coconut (at the neaby warong stalls).

I see a missed oppurtunity for awesome CPL usage on the blue skies - but I can understand the awesome magnet of the sea :P

How much does it cost for one night?

How much does it cost for one night?

From about 1600RM (all inclusive) and upwards to 3000RM per night. It was my sister-in-laws wedding, so we stayed 4 nights paid for by the family! Otherwise, it is out of my realistic reach as a holiday resort

Wow!
Blue skies, fine white sand, rocky outcrops out in the water, beautiful landscapes and pool with sky & palm fronds reflected, large half-moon in the day .... you've caught the feel of a resort

The canoe shots ... sun must have been reeeal hot then.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Grant, nice sharp photos. Makes me feel like going on long awaited vacation.

The photos are great but I think the composition need a little bit more work. Cheers!

Ironically the Hotel landscape/pool looks better than the beach/sea area. Looks like a nice place to stay.
