As above , when i point my cam towards a light source , i can see very clearly that there are dust in it.
I did some cleaning myself using a blower & sensorklear pen. but still i see them there. I m not sure if it's the CCD or the viewfinder.

how do i confirm the location of the dust ??

THanks . :?

I also have a tiny dust on my viewfinder but when I take pictures it's not there, it wont affect your picture quality. I don't know how to remove dust from viewfinder, so at the moment I just leave it there, not too obvious anyway for mine.

Try taking some pictures. If you can't see the dust then it's the viewfinder.

me too... got some sort of particles inside my viewfinder.
not sure how does it happen but i guess due to blowing the sensor.
it does not affect the photo taken tho'.

Take to Canon or Nikon whichever is the correct brand for you......................... ;)

I encounter before also...if your picture's not effected and you can't blow it away then most probably is the viewfinder. Just bring it into service center as suggested by Noordin :)

If you can see it it's on the mirror or in the viewfinder, it won't effect the pics.

If I can see it in the viewfinder it's usually on the mirror, after a good blows it's gone.

Nikon can clean it up for you.

Last I checked with Nikon it cost RM150 to clean the viewfinder chamber.

If its not really bad I would advise to just ignore it.
