guys ,

just wanna ask should i get the Nikkor or the Tamron ?? both price are more or less the same.
the Tamron might be abit more expensive though.

Just wanna know how's the pic quality from both lens ? I did some googling but not much came back. so wanna ask those who are having this lens ,what do you think. worth investing ? or i should save up for the 70-300 VR which is 3 times more expensive.

Save for the VR :)

Or if not get the 70-300mm from Sigma it's the best of the lot I think.

i would say, safe for VR...if not and really need that range now, then the sigma is a good choice....even the sigma 70-200 is very good.

I owned both VR & Sigma 70-200 :P. I use VR to shoot wild life & Sigma for event. In terms of sharpness, I would say VR win by a notch, but autofocus speed of HSM is just amazing. If you ask me which one I prefer most, sorry, myself also dun know the answer.:? That's why I keep both. :D
