Great shots....i took some shots as well during those games...but some of them not so nice...
maybe i'll try and post some here..

i think the place where u sit limits your shooting angle.
as from that angle, the photos were a bit busy with the crowd on the background.

but i couldn't help but to laugh on #10 as u freeze that guy until he looks like he got stung by bee or something. hehehe...

You need to isolate the spectators as in 5, 6 and 8. Hence a long fast lens becomes a necessity. ;)

Pics not bad for a start. U gotta shoot at a faster shutter to freeze some movements. Your colors cast gotta correct. A lot of 'green' in all picture. Crop out the spectators. In sports, they are that not important to make the picture impactfull :D

Anyway, keep on shooting. Good try !

agree with u that gota isolate the spactator out .. beside using 300mm anything else can be done there :P cos i can only sit at the stand and already iligally sitting at wrong place :P how i wish i can jump down :P :run_away:

hehe. u can shoot at Large JPEG then later do cropping from the file. A 70-200 lens is good enough from where u was. 300mm would be very tight. U'll need to move back like 3 rows :D
