A boy on the street in Manchester, captivated by a really tall juggler ;)

This picture was taken with my Casio Exilim Z850...wish I had a DSLR :(

Still learning, please be brutal!

Well, in my humble opinion, street photography is not all about the equipment you have. It's about the moment and feeling you are trying to capture....which I still fail to do:( ...hehehe....nice capture and keep shooting more and share with us here....:)

my 2 worthless cents...

DId i hear Manchester ??????

arghh must not remind me of my 3rd home :(

Not bad..but i find a little too much crowd on the left of the clown. Ok maybe it was a P&S and you coudlnt control the frame or compose a slightly tighter frame.

Btw i like the crown shows he's happily entertaining himself and others while showing how despite busy a city is, you have people who would wanna make others feel happier. However the foreground on the left containts too much people and the boy watching him. distracted me away from him. i find it a little distracting, kept my eyes away from the clown before i actually have to refocus my eye again on the clown.

Probably i was assuming i was looking at the clown instead of trying to understand the entire picture. What were in your thoughts when you took this picture ?

Ok bash me up pls i am not worthy to comment so it shall be my 0.0002 cents worth of ramblings
.. 1215am and i am not asleep yet.

Hmm....here's a thought...

I wonder how it'd look like in B&W? Some highlights and shadows adjustment and this photo may be a real gem.

Since I can see the pix now ......
I understand Leslie's opinion.

Maybe the pix has been cropped, but my personal take is the composition. The background crowd somehow detracts focus/attention from the foreground subjects i.e. clown and boy.

Personally prefer a shot of just the boy and clown, even better if can see the boy's expression :D May need different type of lens, different angle, and lighting to be considered, too, since it looks like they're almost under a structure of some sort. Try converting to B&W.

Nice & sharp by the way :D
