Hi hi,
I'm gonna have an empty room soon in my house. I'm planning to make it into a mini studio for portraits. What are the stuffs needed? The room is 13 feet by 10 feet. Budget wise would be the "bang for buck" type. Can any of you list out the stuffs needed and the pricing for each item ? thanks

U can go to search the forum ,got some people wanna sell their studio equipments ,i'm junior in studio photography ,in my opinion ,ur room is too small for portraits(except passport/ID photo) ,some more studio lighting may cause electric shock and dangerous in home(limited by fuses and cable),must consider it !!

10 x 13 very limited leh ... u want the narrowest as the back drop and longest for shoot. DOF and bokeh .... running out of room is an issue and will limit the effect for portrait and headshot.

What size/space will be ideal setup for that intended purpose? assuming rental is not an issue.

13ft by 10 ft is good only for passport type pics.

Full body shots not really advisable.
