Actually I already have an SB800 was looking for a second flash, Metz flash from what I was told and tested produce a slight warmer colour than SB800 which I like. And it's a Metz....

My understanding the price should be almost similar to SB800...guess I was wrong.:tongue_roll::tongue_roll:

Oh... this is a nice one. I love Metz's secondary flash but I have a question for Nikon that is unanswered, does Metz support Nikon's CLS wireless flash?

why this is more expensive?
i believe it's bocz this is the world's first flash with USB socket for software updates!! and if u look carefully,there's a"small" fill-in flash in the front part below the main flash head which actually provides "fill-in" when ur trying to bounce the flash at a different angle..:cool:

i've personally tested it,and i must say the "colours/temp" is better than the SB800.and the refresh rate is also higher..

and the best part is,it's made in GERMANY!!hahaha:tongue_roll:


and u can also always test it out at YL and Keat Camera...hehe

Someone told me that there is no Metz dealer in Malaysia, so, no warranty. Is that true?

I think it is more expensive bacause of the higher Guide number 38 for
Nikon SB800 and 58 for this Metz.
