I'd probably choose a war torn country like Iraq or Afghanistan - provided someone can design and give me a bullet proof, mortar proof, RPG proof, and bomb proof suit which could still allow me to move flexibly like as though Im not wearing anything. :P
Come to think of it, I would actually love to do some kinda documentary as an embedded photojournalist. :P

Yeah I'd love to do some war-torn docu thingy like Iraq, Sudan or Afghanistan.
My acheivable dreams though are Africa (Serengheti and some city street photos).
And South America, perhaps the back streets of Brazil (have to make sure I have good insurance though).

The Silk Road is definitely in....oh, shoot only? Does that mean a food/culture/ photography odessey through Europe is out of the question?
Morocco.
Great Barrier Reef to shoot great whites and other sea life.
The whole of Africa.
Antartica (Greenland will do too).

Parachute from a C130 at 20,000ft with a camera above my head.
Calculated the above and did ask around.. would probably cost Rm200,000 or less. which in a lifetime a person can do the above... provided he lives a freaking carefree life like myself :cool:

maybe should have a printed white tee that says "don't shoot me, I'm just the photographer. The soldier is this one" with two arrows pointing to left and right.
Works better than ceramic plated kevlar vest, maybe.

- Myeik archipelageo/Myanmar islands (alternative to Nagaland)
- Pacific; Solomon, Marquesas, Samoa in particular (when I got at least 3-4 months time and my friend is sailing there)
- Laos; far north, up the Nam Ou from Phongsaly
- Laos; more time in Thakhek/Nahin area
- Laos; by road along the Mekong to Luang Prabang (instead of using route 13)
- Philippines; boat trip exploring between El Nido/Cuyo/Coron; many more ideas in that country
