Does anyone know how to crop in Lightroom where you change the orientation? I want to crop a 4x6 landscape image into a 6x4 potrait image but Lightroom does not seems to allow me to set a ratio with a different orientation.

I face the same problem here as well. Usually I would just crop enough to leave enough space. Covert the image to JPEG and then do a crop using Picasa which maintains the 4x6 and 6x4 dimensions.

lightroom does enable you to crop to whatever ratio you want, go to the crop screen, or press "R" then click on the "Lock" icon beside the crop button.

if the lock is close then the cropping ratio will follow the original, if the lock is open then you can crop to whatever ratio you want. (the lock icon is beside the aspect button, in my attachment the lock is open meaning there is no ratio set)

or else click on the button below the "Aspect" button and you can see a whole lot of ratio, or you can even enter your desire ratio. (see the attachment, the mouse cursor is pointing at the area you should click to set the ratio)

if you want to change orientation, just drag the box longer either to the left or to the bottom to change it's orientation.

i'm use lightroom 1.1 and now lightroom 1.2 both also can do cropping without any problem

Yes, I have since discovered that you can crop to a different orientation and maintain the ratio in Lightroom. Just lock the ratio, and then drag the corners left/right or up/down and 'squeeze' the image until the orientation changes. Rather simple but unfortunately not well documented.
