Best "stuffed roasted pork belly" i've ever tasted. always had two servings. cheap. about rm25 per plate. make sure you tell the waiter you want it crispy.

and a variety of imported beers to dull the senses.

sadly, no pics to show. perhaps ST can snap a few if ever he ventures there.

That used to be one of my favourite restaurants. They have buffet lunch every friday...

uncle noords, oih, it's out of bounds for thee, my friend. but u can have a cup of cuppa there whilst max and I hentam. don't forget to ask DA to come along. i haven't seen any of you in person. this is a date i intend to keep !

I not sure is it the same Euro Deli branch in Penang that gone tutup kedai...
The German Pork Knuckle is lousy... The fried pig skin is hard like metal...

that Penang 'euro deli' not worth the time visiting lah. better off going to 'bee hooi' kopitiam down the road or or Tucky hokkien mee opposite. :D

PJ also has one 'euro deli' in Damansara Kim. that one is also equally 'chia lart' (bad). :P

have to go to the one in yap kwan seng, kl. expats frequent the joint, so standard is maintained. same story lah everywhere, how asians treat asians. :D

I have never been to any of those so call branch outlets. The one at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng sure serves good food.

try rib shop in medan damansara for bbq pork!

and

also vintry (same place, medan damansara) for roast pork..


I never tried em (and yes i can't eat em) but my colleagues all go there for yummy pork :laugh:

ST, there is a branch located in UPTOWN, Damansara Utama. But the shop lot is quite hard to find. Maybe SA can organize a TT there next time :cool:

pls only go to the one in yap kwan seng. as i fondly cautioned earlier in the thread, you will want to give the damansara kim branch a good miss.

suffice to say that the apple in damansara kim had fallen very far from the tree in ampang. :0

The one in Damansara Kim is the first Euro Deli. It started off as a retail shop selling ham, bacon, etc, not as a restaurant. Yap Kwan Seng came in later as the restaurant only (and not a retail shop). It was so successful that they decided to convert part of the shop in Damansara Kim to be a restaurant.
