I have put my FZ30 up for sale in the sales forum, but I suspect ShutterAsia members are too well equipped ;) to need to buy my camera.
I have never sold anything in Malaysia, and so would appreciate any advice as to the best places to advertise, or otherwise make available for sale my camera, and a few watches (Rolex + Omega +Nomos) in order to raise funds for a DSLR.
Any advice at all appreciated.
Grant.

Yeah, right :P Fleabay...

But thanks, guys for the suggestions. I am selling the watches on specialist forums, and have decided to keep the Panasonic FZ30 as, to be quite honest, it is still an amazing capable camera with a brilliant lens. It is also extremely well made, and so should last a while. Using DxO software removes many of it's defects when post processing.
I reckon selling just the Rolex should buy a D80 or D200 - it's the subsequent lenses and other gear that I am worried about!:0

Have compiled a list of everywhere I know here:

Place to Buy/Sell Second Hand Cameras, Lenses & Accessories in Malaysia (http://www.shutterasia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=702)

Hope you find it useful!

Grant, i think you should sell your camera equipment in Camera forum, like photo Malaysia, FTZ and SA will have better demand than normal site such as ebay, lelong.com.

By the way, FZ30 is a good camera, i think the demand for 2nd hand is quite popular as long as u price is resonable...

Anyway hope u can sell u stuff asap

Still on the fence, because, as you say, it is a good camera. Had a sensible offer already so thinking...;)
Thanks for the advice and good wishes!

Thanks for all the advice, folks, really.
I sold my FZ30 today, and now am learning to take pictures *properly* with my so-much-easier-to-use Canon A550, before I upgrade to a DSLR.
It's not the camera, as you folks know, it's in the head and the imagination! ;)
When my head catches up, I'll upgrade :)

Sorry, older basic Speedmaster Auto. Thanks for asking.
Just that and an Air-King. Everything else gone.
Nothing "top=drawer". ;)
