And you know why it makes me sick...

He's only 17!

Check out the Gallery link on the front page, then all the porfolio galleries, mind-blowing stuff. Especially the 'X' gallery.

He won a lot of acclaim for his homeless series.

Wow this guy's really good....
Hope his attitude is good as well...

Cause what makes me sick is when they're really young, take good photographs and show off their skills... Makes me sick!!

Yes, he is good. BTW he is now 19. He is Manny's friend and was supposed to come meet us in Bali end of this month. Unfortunately he has to withdraw 'cos of a commercial engagement. Sigh...:(

Just wondering why his picture in the homeless series seems different. The colour is somehow "sharp" Do you guys think its PP or something else?

There was definitely PP done, and quite a lot too. The most obvious effects was the Lomography and the HDR effects. (Look up google or wiki if you don't know what they are). The sharpness was most probably of the camera / lens that he uses. He used (believe it or not) a 1.3 megapixel Minolta Dimage camera for most of his earlier shots. Now he uses a Canon 5D, mostly on prime lenses. Goes to prove once again the merits of prime lenses, so ditch your zoom lenses. (If you have the 70-200 2.8 IS, you can give it to me! :D)

Oooo I see. Well, maybe this is a real fine example of good photographer takes great shoots. Thanks for the info.

BTW I'm a Nikon user :tongue_roll:

No worries, if you read his FAQ, someone did ask him, Nikon or Canon. His reply: "No quarrels, whatever gets the job done." Well said! Please, not another brand fighting. :)

I don't mean to compare the camera brand. I believe both have the same quality. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
