HELP !!! how to recover jpg files ??

Hi all,

Would like to ask how to recover jpeg files ??
my HDD corrupted and manage to recover some of the jpeg files but cannot see or view :(
i have try the jpeg recovery software but cannot work :(

is there any powerful image recover tools that i can use or not ahhh ?? HELP ......... HELP ........ HELP ..............

u can use Get Data Back or Easy Recovery Pro..cd can buy at any pirate reseller..i'd try Get Data Back and can detect my client doc n pic after i wrongly format the comp..hehe

Data recovery software will only help you recover the files, if the files themselves are corrupt there's not much you can do :(

And please don't talk about piracy here, as photographers we should respect intellectual property :)

huhu..im not support piracy also..my company do have the original one..afraid of ppl cant afford to buy ori software for rm4k..hehe..suggest u to download many free software from internet..tiramitsu data recovery also free..some softwares are 30days trial..come on,download now..ST, i believe jmaguireokm hdd corrupt,not the jpg files..i hope so.. :D

guys, thanks for the solution given.

basically, i have try "Recover My Files" and "Recover My Photo" (trail version) i can manage to "scan" 60% of the missing/corrupted jpeg files (those words, excel, ppt, txt can recover up to 80%). The headache part here is those recover jpg files which i have is "unavailable" in another word, the jpeg is corrupted :(

I have search through the web for some free trail s/w such as "pixrecovery" and "jpeg recovery" all seems like cannot work for me at all :(

I havent try out the "Get Data Back" yet ......

any idea is there any solution for corrupted/delete jpeg software in the market ???? :?

CONVAR/PCInspector (http://www.pcinspector.de/Sites/file_recovery/info.htm?language=1)
and managed to recover almost all my files except 1... can say 99.5%

and its FREEWARE...

I guess you can try it on your corrupted hardisk.

if MBR corrupt, then easy. HDD Corrupt? Data Management agent you are looking for, maybe.

"GetDataBack" and "Easy Recovery Pro" is mainly on files. even can recover partially of the jpeg but couldnt view also :( thanks for the software reconmended ;)

Have try this freeware, but no luck. like above mentioned, partially recover the jpg files but is corrupted. thanks for ur reconmendation bro ;)

ehh ...... your freeware not bad ohhh can mostly recover from the CF card. but very strange that the sequence is different. for example 1 event i shoot for 100 shots, i can recover only 20 or 30 the max, the rest "missing" ................... (even i format the CF in the camera )
