View Full Version : My first shot as begineer
i wonder why the picture turns out to be like this?
is it wrong metering set , exposure or etc?
I'm new to photography. I got my D40 few months back and these are some of the results that I got while trying out the camera. So any piece of advice/comments/criticism is welcomed.
thanks

The first 2 having WB problem...
the last one is underexpose... Just wonder why you want to use aperture at f/22 and shutter speed at 1/500? Spot metering might cause this also

Yeah first 2 is white balance, you've set to incandescent which makes it very cool or blue.
The last is metering or exposure problem, make sure you're on matrix meter and max aperture you need is about f/11 for landscape shots.
