Its time for ShutterAsia's first monthly challenge. This challenge will be run from the 1st October 2007 until 20th October 2007. This activity is open exclusively to all ShutterAsia members, each person can enter only ONE photograph according to the Rules or Terms & Conditions stated below.
Theme/Title : Kitchen Stuff
Challenge Date : 1st Oct 2007 - 25th Oct 2007
PP Limitations: Basic (Sharpening/Brightness & Contrast/Crop/Colour Correction)
Submission: Create your own thread in the October Challenge Section (http://www.shutterasia.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=52) with the title as "Challenge #1 - Your Picture Title"
Rules :
1. All images submitted for this challenge must be shot/taken within the specified challenge date (October 1st - 20th).
2. EXIF information for the image must be intact to prove the date taken
2. Submit images with a short description of your photo, as well as a title/name for it.
3. Images must be submitted with no borders and also no watermarks. All submitted images must be 800px on the longest side (No larger or smaller)
4. Copyrights of submitted images will be retained by the photographer (We just reserve the right to repost the image in the Hall of Fame).
How would this challenge work? :
Simple. By the end of the challenge date, 5 photos will be picked by a panel of judges. These photos will be posted up for public voting for a duration of 10 days. The top photo will be awarded a ShutterAsia Hall of Fame (SAHOF) medal (its an online medal), and the top 3 photos will have their photos/username "engraved" on the SAHOF thread indefinitely :) .
As for now there is no prize apart from improving your photographic skills and some bragging rights.
So start get busy fellas, good luck and happy shooting! :D
And don't remember to come back and vote for the top 5 after the 20th of October!
