LCD Monitor Recommendation Required

I'm looking for a good LCD monitor for my home PC for reviewing photos. Brand, model, aspect ratio, size and resolution, etc? Currently using a 17" CRT but thought to cut down radiation as I review photos for long hours besides to improve the quality of the display. Thank you.

have not given the budget much tot. perhaps >RM1.5k to <RM5k? oh, was looking forward to meeting you at the recent workshop for the exhibition at central market but alas, my loss.
