Actually it is the fog that hangs on the whole day in the city. The temperature was -15 degC and there was no snowfall. I add to take off the gloves and put it in the pocket and could only stand 60 secs of exposure at a time without the fingers turning blue..

you didn't mention that fingers might get glued to the shutter release. haha.
