I am sure you guys seen BW potrait photos of old men, old ladies. the thing that makes the photo very unique was the emphasis on the wrinkles by making them older than they look. deep wrinkles lines!
I am fascinated by those photos. and I wonder how do those guys do that?
whats the trick in photoshop?
Or did they use macro lens to actually do the shooting? lol
Anyone has anything to share on this? Or at least share some samples ar.

probably u are looking at images which are very contrasty. which makes the wrinkles look deep. Such B&W adjustment can be achieved in many ways.

i always get fascinated by our fellow dtbh who always took great portraits of elderly people.
see this (http://www.shutterasia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2146) as an example.
it not only photoshop work, but it also involved gears, technical skills, good eyes & good judgments to produce these sort of shots.

The post process is where 90% of the work is done to get this. It's a set of steps that's taught by Manny in his portrait workshops. It is not as straight forward as many here think. :run_away:
