yepp... i like the geometric lines in the shot. no obvious distortion.
the thing is, the title is "rural shopping", which i can't relate to the geometric lines.
and the coconut tree's leaves also a bit distraction, kinda mess-up the straight-line's flow.
if u ask me, i prefer the shot to be in potrait-orientation so that the composition is there.
coz rite now, i only see half of the shop which i think is not too nice.
good try btw... keep it up. :D

you're right, distortion wise, i cannot really complain.

the title doen't need to be 'in your face', right? the title is an idle description of the subject that i'm shooting. lines are what makes the photo different from same users shooting the same subject.

well, i did try to shoot using portrait orientation but it doesn't really depict the right mood for the photo. the reason why i think it could be cropped that was is, viewers can imagine the rest of the missing puzzle in their head.

the tree - well, there's nothing i can do about it.

thanks for your insight though...i hope my explaination helps to further understand why it's taken in such way.

yepp, u r right... the title doesn't have to be in 'in my face'. but i think the title should describe the title eloquently. the word "eloquently", does it sounds familiar to u?

urmm.. would u mind sharing the photo in potrait-orientation, if u shot it. maybe we can share some thoughts on it.

the tree - it really spoiled the whole photo.

cheers! :D
