Last saturday attended my fren bbq in USJ17, took some photo and share some of the photo here. How you think ab the photo?

yann, the lighting very nice!
#1-#4 good
#1 - the background PP lor otherwise mebbe rear curtain sync flash, better still light it up naturally from behind :D
#5 the guy's black baju and background blend too much liao ... jes' me tots

1 and 4, empty space on left while some part got cropped away on the right, not balance
overall, sharp and good lighting

These are just snapshots aren't they. Something for your personal album. So no point for me to nit pick on them. But I like the happy mood shown by everyone. Even a small group of friends can make a lively party! :D

Actually, even when taking snap shots, we should think composition, as when we develop good habits, they follow us everywhere... When start bad habits, they also follow us...
Anyway, my main concern is the background elements such as heads or bodies that stick out of the "focus" shot like in pic 2 and 3... Too many times people in snap shot, even holiday pics capture shots with people interferring with subject... somethings if the photog waits or moves slightly, you get a better composed shot, that would great for enlarging and putting on the wall... :D

Yea, those are just the snapshot on the bbq event. I think one of the important thing is to capture the moment, the happy moment.

yea jack, i also notice got a little not balance lol. I shot with 50mm 1.8 ne

Yea, sometime hard to capture event in order what we want because too many people walk around us. Well, i should pratice more and more. hehe
