Still, I think the lightsphere gives better lighting effect, judging from your experimental shots.
the DIY bouncecard shot has almost the same effect as lightsphere. except for that, you can see a reflection spot behind it. and the lightsphere doesn't

great flash test !
Good effort. How about including a test with the Stofen at 90 degrees up? It would be interesting to compare that with the LFD at 90 degrees

Look underexposed. Did you meter the correct spot?

ah ha...:P im still learning how to use flash..but this 1 i knw it was under exposed...cos im used small aperture and normal speed shutter...i suppose to set the aperture and shutter speed until my expose bar point at center? im using 350D.

i think u under exposed coz u use white subject and background. try compensating for it.

can i ask a stupid question? when we use 'A' or 'S' mode, we can adjust the EV value right? but how come when use 'M' mode can't adjust? is it all control with F number and shutter speed?
