Anyone know who is Amy Yip (http://www.brns.com/picts2d/ayip4.jpg)? Even though same surname, she's not related to me ... as far as I could tell.
Anyway, yesterday, I managed to grab some of her bun.... um... rather... her name-sake. I managed to grope at some Yap Chee Mei Big Bun! I was so hungry that I devoured it within minutes. (trying to be cheeky but i think these text doesn't sound right...)
I know this time, I've got several No No's on these pictures. Do feel free to critic.

RM4.80 for it. Compared to last time, now it's memang saggy. In terms of fillings, they also cut down alot. Compared to the normal tai pau, this is twice the size.

This can be purchased at Taman Connaught in Cheras. If you're heading there from PJ direction, make a U-turn at the end of the Connaught stretch. If you're coming from KL/Phoenix/Leisure Mal direction, keep left, you'll be able to see a Lorry and Van parked by the side. Just walk up there and you'll see a big sign saying YAP CHEE MAY BIG BUN.
As far as I know, it's the only place where I could buy it.

The skin looks a bit wrinkled... must be due to old-age... (i m referring to pix of the bun).
