Hi,

I am planning to get a CPL for my sigma 17-70mm (Filter Size: diameter 72mm). Any particular brand that I should know? .. and what are the price range? I will be hitting the Singapore soil next weekend. Would it be cheaper to gear up the stock in the island of Singa?

Kindly advise.

Get B+W 77mm, then buy a 72-77mm step-down ring.

That'll kit you out for any future lens purchases and stop you having to buy multiple CPLs for different lenses, you can just buy the step-down.

It's cheaper in Singapore yeah.

Good question. Just wondering what would the difference be between the Hoya Pro1D and the BW ?

Heard there is a world of difference but no real photos to show it yet?

Any heads up?

The B+W is brass and made in germany, it'll last you a life time.

If you want to buy cheap stuff go ahead loh :P

You'll regret it one day and buy the real deal anyway, so better save your money and get the best you can in the first place.
