Hi guys, recently been out shooting portraits ... i see other sifus use reflectors to diffuse harsh sunlight or to bounce lights ... But i'm not really close to them YET so nvr ask them .. so i decided to ask here :P

1) Is there any "good" brands for the reflectors ?
2) What's the usual/standard size for the reflectors ? 32" ? I checked ebay .. got some is like 22" =.=" That's like my monitor size lol ..
3) What's the price like in Malaysia? I'll be going back home end of the year .. if it's alot cheaper .. i'll wait till i get back instead of buying from ebay.

1) Good brand is Lastolite, but most of us manage with cheap china reflector :)

2) Most is about 110cm standard size, so that's about 32" I think should be.

3) You can get unbranded 5-in-1 for about RM120 as you can see here 5 in 1 Reflector kit 32" (http://www.shutterasia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2668)

Icic .. so the china ones are good enough eh? Rm120 ... that's about the same as ebay ... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Collapsible-5-in-1-110cm-42-Reflector-BIG-DISCOUNT_W0QQitemZ120173041249QQihZ002QQcategoryZ3 0088QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Yeah looks pretty good to me.

I don't have any problems with the China brand one...it's performing a simple function anyway.

Just mine has gone a bit rusty...hahah due to rain.

5 = Silver, Gold, Black, White & Diffuse

Silver = Strong reflection - natural light colour

Gold = Softer reflection - warm light colour

White = Less reflection - natural light colour

Black = Absorb light to control spill

Diffuse = Diffuse natural light source when it's too harsh
