I hope my entry will be accepted .... like freaky I made this shot overnight & I didn't have the chance to process and upload it till now. In fact I made 2 shots and couldn't decide which to submit.

Exposure: 5 sec (5), Aperture: f/16 , Focal Length: 50 mm, ISO Speed: 125

While the blue flame took it's time to cook, I manually flashed my SB600 twice to get the specular highlights where I wanted them. First was cam left into a white envelope ghetto reflector angled upwards towards the whisk. Yup, I had a red gel on the flash to make the IKEA whisk look red :) Second flash was bare, camera top left aimed down at the crown of the whisk to get those 6 highlights

exif s/be intact.

meng, patrick & jerry .... thanks ...

it was a long night for me ... took about 20 shots with the exact same placement. The difference with this one is that I thought the tonality on the upper half of the whisk worked best to show the 3 dimensional qualities of the shape, curves and form of the whisk.
