It's actually a butterfly, not a moth. :D
CM, nice raynox Shot~
Thank you, now go and buy one for yourself. :rasta:

At maximum zoom on my camera (equivalent to 420mm), I can get this sort of magnification about 8cm away from the butterfly. Got to have steady hands, and move in real slowly.

Nope, no crop, all full size. The butterfly is actually really small, about an inch across.

Wow :0 that's REALLY close! Whenever I try to get up close with bugs that can fly, I'm almost always a complete failure ... probably I'm just not graceful enough :D:D
Nice shots, dude! Ya'know with your really cool shots, I feel that my DCR-250 is at home now crying out that I failed him :(

Um, it's normal for a "she" to treat it like a "he" ... no? :D:D On the contrary, I think infact probably I must have been treating it like a "her" instead - too gentle and nice liao. Hmmm, I think I need to start getting rough with it now :D:D
