Snap it infront of your lens and take a picture of the location u gonna take picture and than set the file to custom white balance and your white balance will be correct :D come with training :P

it does help in some situation and its cheap piece of tool aswell compare to those expodisc at 300+

yes u dont need to focus anything just use your hand to hold the cap infront of your lens :) i will demo to u when i meet u :D

this sunday mea? i dont think i can make it ... got work to attent to .. VR is not the best place to test the cap normally it has spot light and the lighting keep changing u can only rely only your AWB mode

the custom WB is for u to use when its in single lighting condition without changing light situation....

I dont think it will work with flash, your object will turn blueish.

WB is used to balance the room temperature, for example human skin under tungsten light will be yellowish. Using WB, it neutralize yellowish and get back natural skin color.

While flash tends to be blueish and the light is harsh enough neutralize the tungsten light, you don't need a WB to bring back the natural human skin color.

u can use it if u are shooting some lighting condition with the cap on it take the reading with the flash and set it as the custom white balance :)

in such situation, u need colour gel attach to your flash to balance out the warm tone, then you camera CWB it back.

The WB cap sold at Direct Photo cost somewhere RM180/. This is only RM 25/., but did any of u guys done any comparison between these 2, cos I tested the one with DP n find it interesting. Maybe the cheaper version could still give good results.
