Proton BLM spyshots again...

Photo was captured on last saturday around 10am++. I was on my way to Ipoh with my old junk...once passed Jln Duta toll...as usual, road work all the way till Sabak Bernam ( i think that's the name :D)

Suddenly i notice there is weird look car behind me...quickly take out my 2 MP camera :lol: ....

I was like doing around 110-120km/h (old junk still rock :D ).....we like "follow" each other all the way till Tanjung Malim...and this can "balik" to Proton plant

It's the Saga replacement (Proton BLM, which is a codename that stands for Base Line Model).

it might not be 1st-class in terms of looks, but the design of this BLM does surprise me.. i thought i've lost hope on proton, but now i'm eagerly waiting for the launch of this BLM, maybe there's still some hope.. anyway, it's rumoured to be in the 30K range, if it's really so, i think viva and myvi's sales will be affected badly..

i don't look down on our creation, but i look down at their dependent their arrogant and their failure to admit their own fault.

we have been 'sponsoring' proton for bout 2 decades now, and seriously i don't think it has helped our country economy... well, maybe it has helped but not the country as a whole but to benefit certain parties only... a very limited number of parties.

i wish they ll make a mission statement like "if this project fails, we will close it down for the rakyat!" :partyon::partyon:

but instead they ll make this "if this project fail, we ll ask the government to help us out again... and we will keep trying not to fail" :P

Persona not bad at all. my friend drove it to KL last weekend, and i was the back-seater, i would say the comfy level is quite good. i can feel the power. fuel consumption also not bad. lots of spaces, really a lot!! just a few things that bothered me, the material used for the interior looks cheap, and the design of the back of the persona. the rest looks fine to me. price for the medium line is just a few thousands more than myvi full spec, but Persona give you more for that money compared to myvi. :)

IMHO we Malaysian needs to exercise more of our consumer rights. We need to stop following what others have asked us to do e.g. govt -to sponsor proton, Dealers -giving free plasma tv et al. For once we need to know what we want and need. How much is affordable for us. If we can't afford it then tell it to the govt for them to improve the public transport. Unless we speak, those in power will get away with it. On lighter note that's why I'm still holding back buying the D300. Its too expensive for me:P

quite true, crumple zone thingy to absorb or cushion the impact. Recently my Camry kissed a Kelisa's back, and caused some scratches on the Kelisa's bumper and a cracked back light cover. My front light smashed and fenders all bent. :redface:

dude u can't compare Vios with BLM. Vios is 80k and BLM is RM31 - 39K OTR. thats like double man.materials and technology used to make Vios is world apart from Proton.

Btw VIOS in Bangkok only cost 500,000 baht, RM50k :D

i knock the car with my knuckle and u can hear tht the proton saga trade mark sound which is like a milo tin and when u slam the door it sounds like the tree branches breaking... not bad in keeping that tradition. with these good work maintaining i would say proton will need the rakyat s money for another...at least 1000 years.... the time when the alien took over planet earth.

At least I think the design is no longer a facelift. Anyone count how many facelift Saga went through? I count 6. The car look like Ford Ikon I saw in India especially the taillight. I still have fond memories on my first car... Iswara :)
