Thanks guys... actually there a platform for us to shot the fashion show, but the platform is so freaking small and there not enough space for us to stand. I have no choice but to stand at the light and sound control system platfrom to take.

ykgen, i registered with 1utama management. I rather stay at 1 place than move around, don't want to miss any shots. :D

for info of those going to shoot at 1utama.

register at ground floor info counter. must deposit yr driving licence. you'll be given a photographer tag.

you'll be given access to the photographers' area. there's a platform but it's too small. but you can hang around that area to shoot. the guards won't allow you to shoot from the side.

every hour from 1pm onwards, there'll be a 1/2 hr modelling session of the various fashion labels in 1utama. today it's until 8pm. next weekend another 2 days of shooting. so, there's plenty of opportunity to shoot.

don't worry about equipment. ppl are shooting wt kitlens, 50mm, macro lenses and what have you. but the best would be a medium telephoto in the 70-200mm range.

get a flash too. due to lighting limitations, the face of the models would be in the shadows if you shoot without flash. have fun !

Your #1 is the best - prefer to crop off the right dark part and also the people's heads at the bottom. Powerful, so's #2, wish had frontal pic. The 2nd set sez the same :thumbs_up:
