Hi guys, anyone has opinion which is the better lens?

i) Tamron Zoom Wide Angle-Telephoto A016 AF 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di LD Aspherical IF Macro (Pentax K)

ii) Tamron AF 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Di-II LD Aspherical IF Macro Autofocus Lens (Pentax K)

iii) Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR DI-II LD Aspherical (IF) AF Zoom Lens with Macro (Nikon AF)

I am thinking of replacing my standard kit lens, 18-55 and my 75-300 pentax lenses with one of the above so that I dont have to keep changing lenses and use one lens for all( or most) occasions. Pls advice or your expert opinions.. thanking u in advance :?:D

Firstly the tamron 18-200mm mentioned above.is a nikon mount and would fit ur pentax.

Try another alternative the 17-70mm sigma f2.8- f4.5 is a good walkbout lens.
Keep the 75 - 300 with you .

the longer the zooms the sharpness will degrade ...

aiyor.... the mad rush of changing lens during an exciting shoot with dust, dirt and sweat flying around is part of the fun....:)

Then again, me also looking at a 18-200 for use when travelling on holiday...:P

true ..with the furious of exchanges.
but f2.8 is hard to ignore considering the sharpness and wide aperture..allowing u sharper photos

First, to consider which lens to buy, I think it is important to know which photography area are u in.

Are u shooting low light, macro, sports, or just for travel shoot?

If low light, then the f6.3 is no way for it. The 18-200mm is ideal foe travel shots only. It gives u the flexibility of all-in-one so u can react faster than those who has few lenses to change.

However, looking at the range, the image quality isn't top notch. The longer range it has, quality reduce. So if u are looking for good optical quality lens, maybe u have to look for other better lens.

All 18-200, 28-300, 18-250 are only ideal for travel shooting. Do some google before and buy and happy trying.
