Tried few telephoto lense lately. And come to an conclusion to purchase one sooner or later :) But with this wide array of choices, i am confused. . .
So guys, which telephoto you actually have used it before and think that it is worth buying.

Canon 55-200 IS
Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2
Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG MACRO
Canon EF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 III USM

got my tamron 70-300mm with hoya filter for rm580 at foto selangor. hope this helps.

P/s - I'm selling it away if your interested :) cuz i rarely use telephoto lately and have the urge to buy something else :P

i guess it depends on your budget.
i have the tamron. it's okay and cheap.

hmm.. all of the sudden, im having the itchiness for those 70-200mm f/2.8. Maybe i'll forget about buying it when i hear about the price :P

read a magazine the other day, they rated the Sigma heighest among 6 other budget tele lenses tested Tamron was 2nd.

I've tested the Sigma, I FEEL that it's better la. Feels like images turn out better but heck you can view my gallery, a lot of shots are taken with the Tamron. (check out the Awana Genting Highlands album).

owned the Tamron.. i would say.. great lens for it's price :D most of the time i use the macro function.. perhaps 1:2 are sufficient for subject like butterflies, flower, bees etc..
I do shoot lanscape with it eg. sunset, sunrise over the mountain..
