Stray Kitties

I noticed there's been a few cat threads lately :D I guess I'll just join in the fun as well :D:D:D

Ok, I know these shots are crappy and blur. I was shooting with the 90-300mm with unsteady hands and uncomfortable pose to get closer shots coz these stray kitties were hiding in the drain inside the compound of my parent's neighbour's house. I was praying that onlookers didn't think I was trying to peep on the neighbours!!! But these kitties are soooo cute, I just had to share them.

#1 - This white one was rather timid and shy!

Yep, especially when their mother's not around. When she's around, they can get really playful and sometimes they bask together under the moon! LOL

Thanks all for the comments! They are indeed very cute, there were four of them in total! I have actually been wanting very much to shoot them many times, but each time I didn't get a chance because it would either be raining or they're not there! I just may try again ... if I can get into the neighbour's compound :D:D

The 2nd pic is good...there is enough eye contact and the colour of kitty's eyes....nice. Maybe a slightly tighter crop...get rid of the upper right corner.

Yesterday evening, I went to try my luck again with the kitties. This time I used 50mm, so I had to find a way to get close enough without them running away. Considering it was almost dinner time, I gave them some food to eat while I took the opportunity to snap away.

Crappy shots again. I wish I could go down under more, but I didn't want to lie on my tummy on all those grass and pokok semalu growing on my neighbour's compound!! So, I'll just have to make do with what I can.

#1 - Kitties feeding on their mother. There were four kitties.

I think those two kitties finished all the rice and meat. Doubt the mother and the other two had a chance. Pics #2 - #4 were taken from the other side of the fence that you see in pic #1.
