The problem with camera shop in HK is, the popular lens are always out of stock, they will normally ask u to make a booking with some deposit, and wait for the stock to arrive, can be days, weeks or months, depending on which lens, very difficult to get the popular lens for some one who is only there for couple of days.

Let me bring out this old topic bit...the 'problem' u mentioned about no stock is it refer to Nikon lens ?
I know Canon Lens easily obtain. Price is generally 20-30% cheaper than Malaysia.
There is so many shop in Hong Kong offering good deal. Like Sham Shui Po, MongKok, TST

Then start calling them and order just say you will get it when you were there in couple of months time. (for those who are daring lar). Want to get cheaper stuff, have to bear some risk right?:D
