your pictures look ok using kitlens but a bit soft for me :)
perhaps can play with lighting kind of things

if you want close up shooting, can get a +4 filter or a real macro len :D

You should have focused on the robot's face, instead of the body in #1.

the softness is ok. but the point where u focus made the photo looks a bit out of focus. i like all your shots personally. the idea was there. my personal fav is #3 eventho' selective color is not my preferences. keep it up atim! :)

@ jmaguireokm - sir , recommend me to get +4 filter ??.. can give any detail on that filter , thanks and appreciate it..a rest i will googler about it..
macro lense?? it still expensive to me..compare to my noob skill :run_away:

@limgt - thanks and really learning on focuses part..still straggle to find what part of focus will make the picture stunning..anyone can help me on tips...

@noruazumi - thanks sir , im actually misunderstand what 'soft' should mean??..softness of color ? ...and mind me if u share your preference on selective color..??..thanks..

in a simple word, softness means it is not sharp. for example if u are using 50mm f/1.8, even though you got the photo in focus, u can see that even at the focus point, it is not sharp. that's what we called, soft. softness can easily be fixed using Photoshop or other photo editing software. but it is better to get the right result on camera rather than fixing it using Photoshop as we need a good photo to give the best result using Photoshop.

the selective color is just my own personal preferences. but if use it in a right way, then it can produce some nice impact.

hope these explanations would help. :)
