Anybody knows?
It's for a poor birder wannabe like me.
Read fe w reviews in the net.
Still not able to finalize my decision.
Both look OK.
SP AF200-500mm F/5-6.3 Di LD (IF)

Some summary that I noted:
1. 2.5x vs. 10x lens --> psychologically 2.5x is better
2. Bigma is more solid
3. Bigma is heavier --> maybe a good point, maybe not
4. Bigma has better built
5. At wide open, Tamron is better (maybe due to point #1)
6. Tamron is cheaper
To Kevin (& his 500mm), stay away from this thread.....:tongue_roll:
