Hi guys,
was wondering if someone can tell me if this is a good lens to get.
Tamron AF28-300Ultra ZoomXR (if) (28mm-300mm) f3.5-6.3
i am looking for something versatile... esp for street shooting or a walk-around lens. any suggestion/ideas?

It's not really wide enough for crop camera, unless you are using full frame then 24/28mm is fine.
For crop you really need something starting around 17mm.

What camera are you using btw? A good walkabout lens which has been very favourable to most photographers are usually the 18-200mm lens.

I'd probably suggest Sigma 18-200mm OS.
